Statutory Reservation & Age Relaxation Guidelines

As NIPFP is an autonomous body receiving grants-in-aid from the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, it broadly aligns with the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) guidelines. However, for the single-post executive cadre of Director, standard vertical reservations (SC, ST, OBC, EWS) do not apply directly to the post itself. Nevertheless, the Search-cum-Selection Committee actively encourages applications from women and underrepresented categories. Age relaxation and other concessions for reserved categories, if any, are governed strictly by the specific guidelines issued in the official recruitment notification in accordance with DoPT executive orders.
